Michiko is an amazing instructor! She is so creative with crafting workouts that are just right for us – taking into account our individual needs of strength, balance, injuries, etc. In addition, the positive and energetic environment she creates every single time is so rare. As for my shoulder, I can’t believe the difference in the 3 sessions you made. It’s almost 100% better. I’m using the techniques you showed me every day. The only issue, the dog’s upset I’m suddenly using his favorite ball! Lol! It was worth it just for the difference you made in my shoulder. I’m hoping that the tiny bit of stiffness left will resolve with the exercises you taught me.

I had taken a break from Pilates and wanted to start back up. Michiko was available at the time slot I could workout. I appreciated Michiko’s patience with me and together we created a program to get my strength up. Michiko’s workouts are well planned out. She focuses on all parts of the body and gives you a complete workout. I felt stronger after each workout which boosted my confidence. Michiko focuses on the technique of each move. Her goal is for you to feel an overall satisfied feeling from the workout. I enjoy Michiko’s positive energy. She listens to any suggestions I have and incorporates them in the workout! I just had my first lesson with Michiko, she makes it so fun! I love how passionate and excited she is about Pilates!! My alignment’s already so much better and has stayed better throughout the week. Even though I’ve been doing yoga for over a decade, having Michiko there to make adjustments to my form just gave me a whole new awareness of my posture, and I’m staying mindful of it throughout each day. I got to use muscles I’m not used to using; I would recommend this for everyone!

Michiko is very knowledgeable at what she offers. I have done Pilates with her since 2016. She went above and beyond to train me even when I was 8 months pregnant. She will spare time to do her homework before our one on one class to make sure what exercises are safe for me. She’s so kind, happy, and super active. You must train with her once to feel it for yourself. And I really feel sore after every workout, she manages to pick areas that need to be exercised after 8-10 hours of desk work. I love working out with her.

Perfect energy level for an instructor. Very knowledgeable about all of the movements and how to prevent injury. Even in a class of more than one person, she still gives one on one attention. Her class was perfect for all fitness levels, not too hard that I couldn’t complete it- yet I was sore for days afterwards. Would highly recommend!
